Since the Taipei Dome opened, it has not only led the surge in CPBL attendance but has also emerged as a premier venue for international events. In support of the World Masters Games 2025 Taipei & New Taipei City—and with a commitment to promoting and giving back to grassroots baseball—retired player Chou Ssu-Chi rallied several former CPBL stars in 2024 to form the “GOATBROS,” who will compete in the Games’ baseball tournament and help reignite baseball fever.
The “GOATBROS” aren’t just aiming to reach the finals of this year’s tournament—they’ve also set their sights on the 2027 World Masters Games in Kansai, Japan, while continuing to cultivate grassroots baseball.
Beyond the team launch press conference, we’ve organized a public-benefit experience day at the Taipei Dome, inviting children and families to tour the venue. This will give young players from rural and underserved communities a chance to experience a world-class ballpark firsthand, broaden their horizons, and ignite their baseball dreams.
